The one-piece helix flight or helicoid flight is a continuous, one-piece helix formed from flat bars. This flight design is suitable for conveying powdery and granular products, as shown in the figure below.
Ribbon flight is a large-diameter helix with integral spokes. Its screw pitch equates to flight outside diameter, making it ideal for transporting powdery materials and small-sized lumps. See below for more detail.
Pictured below is a paddle screw conveyor mainly built for handling sticky and easy-to-compact materials. Special paddle design allows products to be mixed during conveying.
