Coach
According to GM's AUTOnomy concept, a variety of vehicle bodies can be fitted to a "skateboard chassis" which we call "vehicle development platform". Based on the concept, there have been large, medium and small sized development platforms for highway passenger vehicles on the market.
The large sized road vehicle development platform is ideal for manufacturing the coach commonly running on express highways. The large sized coach is available in length of 12m and 13.7m. It can be classified into single-decker, one and a half-decker, and double-decker coaches, as well as a sleeper bus.
The medium sized platform is ideal for manufacturing the coach for conveying passengers on medium and short distances. The coach length ranges from 7.5m to 11.5m.
The small sized platform is ideal for manufacturing short distance coach and commuting bus which comes with lengths from 6m to 7.5m.
