Belts with a top width to depth ratio of between 1.1-1.3 are called narrow V-belts. Narrow V-belts have a wedge angle of 40° and a relative height of about 0.9mm, and are composed of a wrapping layer, stretching layer, strength layer, and a compression layer. Under the same conditions, our narrow section V-belts have a transmission power 3 times that of ordinary V-belts.

Our narrow V-belts have high relative heights and large friction surfaces with the contact angle; therefore, they have low slip coefficient and high transmission efficiency. Generally applicable to engines and high-speed transmission mechanisms, our narrow V-belts can be used in such industries as oil drilling, machinery, textiles, papermaking, chemicals, transportation, mining, and food processing.

Features of Narrow V-Belts
1. Our industrial V-belts have a unique concave side, which can achieve full contact with the drive pulley and reach a balanced load to avoid abrasion, helping to increase the service life of the belt.
2. The elastic cord can be fully bonded with the belt, evenly distributing the load and absorbing bending stress, which helps against ageing of the cord.
3. The elastic concave side of our wrapped V-belts has a special structure that can extend the service life of the belt and protect the belts from oil, dust, and heat.
4. Our narrow V-belt's oil resistance and heat resistance both reach the RMA Standard; its static electric conductivity also reaches the RMA requirement.
