Fill
Fill is quite essential for the cooling equipment. The cooling fill our cooling towers equipped with is selected according to the following technical and economical factors: the type of the cooling tower, thermal performance, atmospheric conditions, production materials, maintenance, circulating water quality and production cost.
Usually, the cross-flow cooling tower is shorter than others and the ventilation resistance it is faced with is also small. Given this fact, we always adopt the thin-film fill. The available fill we provide include the plastic fill, fill for high temperature cooling tower, PVC cooling tower fill, PP cooling tower fill, trickle fill and fill for central air conditioning system and so forth.
As to the counter-flow cooling tower, the cycling water and air flow in the contrary directions, leading to a larger ventilation resistance compared with that of others. Besides, its air intake and dehydrator are located at higher positions for the tower itself is taller that others. In consideration of the above factors, we often adopt the splash fill (packing) for the counter-flow cooling tower.
