Description:
GFZL series dry roller extrusion granulator is well designed and developed by our company according to customer's needs, on the basis of absorbing foreign advanced powder granulation technology carefully. This equipment can make powder raw materials directly into granular products satisfying the requirement of users, without adding any intermediates and additives. After granulation product size is uniform and the bulk density increases significantly, at the same time, it can effectively control pollution and reduce the waste of powder. It has scientific design, compact structure, simple technological process, convenient operation and usage, thus it is the ideal choice for granulation of your powder product.
GFZL series dry roller extrusion granulator adopts dry roller-extrusion technology, and it compact the powder with less than 10%of moisture content into tablets, then through crushing, granule processing, sifting or screening, the tablet material is turned to granules meeting application requirement. The granulator mainly relies on the outer compaction to force the material to go through the gap between two rollers rotating reversely, and then the material is compacted into tablets.During the compaction course, the exact compacted density of the material can increase by 1.5~3 times, so as to achieve a certain compactness requirements.

Working Principle:
When the raw powder material is degassed, then by the vibration feeding hopper, all kinds of powder materials are fed into the main sheet-rolling hopper evenly after being rationed by the horizontal screw feeder, keeping a constant feed granules in the main sheet-rolling hopper, and then longitudinal (or vertical) cone screw exerts to the powder material for pre-compression to form rolled sheets and conveys to the arc-shaped groove for two rollers. On two rollers’ surfaces there are evenly distributed oblate arc grooves or the diamond grooves, through a pair of gear meshing transmission, two rollers rotate reversely at same speed, and bite the material which is conveyed to the groove mouth by the conical screw into the groove, and instantaneously the forced compaction is conducted. After being compacted, as the pressure decreases, the materials fall off naturally from the groove under the action by its elasticity (surface tension) and gravity. Then extruded out finger-like strip agglomerated materials enter the crusher to be crushed by rotary knife group. The crushed material enters the granule-processing system. Through the rotary knife group or assembly, The granules and partial powder material to be processed is extruded into the rotary vibrating sifter for screening. Thus according to the size requirements from the user, the material receive sifting-out treatment and classification, thus uniform granular product conforming to the requirements of the quality is obtained, and the qualified products are sent to the product warehouse through screw conveyor or bucket elevator, and the sifted out unqualified powder will be returned to raw material bin through screw conveyor for being compacted again. Thus a closed recycling treatment is accomplished.
The compacting pressure can be adjusted though the hydraulic oil cylinder pressure in accordance with the demands for roller extrusion granulation operation.
Through changing the form of the groove on the roller, slice, strip and flat ball material can be obtained.

Note:During granule compacting process, some certain binder can be used for granule compacting when granule material is compacted between two rollers rotating reversely.
