- Maintenance-free lithium batteries are used in our bicycles, whose usable temperature ranges from -15 °C to 45 °C, ideally 10 °C to 30 °C. Extremely low temperatures will reduce the bike's effective capacity, while high temperatures will shorten the battery's lifetime. For these reasons, it is normal that continuous distance is reduced after once charged in winter or cold regions, and the function will recover when the temperature rises to 20 °C. The battery is an important part of a bicycle for guaranteeing the good performance, so please protect it properly. Please don't use electric energy to the minimum allowable voltage when riding.
- It is advised against for consumers and distributors to change the equipment and installation (like adding voltage or add batteries) of the lithium battery privately.
- The electric energy of newly purchased bicycles may be insufficient because of storage time in factory, transportation, etc. Please charge the battery fully (the suggested charge time is 10 hours for the first charge) before using the electric power drive.
- If you don't use electric power for a long time, please charge the batteries once a month regularly. Otherwise, the battery life would be shorten dramatically after long-term storage.
- Check whether the rated input voltage (AC 220 V) of the charger is the same as the grid's voltage carefully. The battery can be charged not only on the bike directly, but also indoor or in other proper place by disassembling. In winter, the battery should be charged indoors.
- Connect the output plug of charger and charge socket of the battery, before connect the charger input plug to AC power, which confirmed by the turning on of the red indicator light. This procedure can't be operated reversely.
- The charger's charging indicator light is on, indicating that the battery is being powered on. When the light is turned from red to green, the batteries are charged fully.
- Charge time should be less than 12 hours, otherwise the battery life will be affected.
- Do not heavily press the charger and wire sheath to avoid short circuiting. On rainy days, wet rain gears should not be set by the charger.
- Please put the charging part in a safe place, where children cannot touch it when charging.
- Use the batteries as full electric energy as possible, or it will affect the batteries' lifetime.
- Don't disassemble the charger without authorization, because there are high voltage electric circuits in the charger.
- Please keep dry and prevent liquids or other contaminants from penetrating the charger when you use and store it. Beware of dropping and crushing to avoid accidents and injuries.
- Don't use the charger's plug with wet hands.
- Don't put anything on the charger when charging.
- The charger is intended for indoor use. Please use it in dry and well-ventilated environments.
- When charging, if the charging indicator light doesn't turn green, please stop charging immediately and send the charger to the dealer for repairing if an abnormal smell is generated, temperature is too high or the charge time exceeds 12 hours.
- Don't put the charger on the saddle when charging to avoid affecting the cooling of the charger in the charge process.
- Please turn off the ignition switch when charging to avoid accidents like driving without control resulted from turning the handlebars unintentionally.
