What Is Pressure Forming?

Pressure forming is an optimal manufacturing process for silicone rubber products, due to its high production efficiency, precision in product size and ability to accommodate large-scale production.

During pressure forming, a certain quantity of plastic is placed into two metal molds, heated with a specific temperature and pressure. The process of plasticizing the material occurs within the mold cavity, as it flows underneath pressure to fill the space completely.

How Does Pressure Forming Work?

Next, we will provide you with a quote. Then, we will design and process the mold using the product drawings you provide us. After the molding process has been completed, we will send some samples for your approval. Once those samples have been accepted, we will move forward to arrange for mass production.
