Special Building Projects: LED Linear Lights, LED Floodlights
Tianjin Eye is the only Ferris wheel in the world built above a bridge, with a diameter of 110m and height of 120m. It has 48 glass passenger capsules which can carry 384 passengers for sightseeing at the same time. StrongLED was honored to offer LED lighting solution for Tianjin Eye’s lighting system. In its lighting design, we used the experience of many successful cases in the world for reference and try to show gorgeous and colorful image of the Ferris wheel at night.
In this project, we used linear LED modules to highlight the outline of the Ferris wheel and LED floodlights to illuminate the herringbone frame with color changing effect. With an addition of lighting for commercial space under the Ferris wheel, the whole lighting system is totally natural and seamless. To ensure perfect lighting effect, all LED fixtures used in the project were customized by StrongLED.
