Our raw silk can be woven into high quality silk fabrics by textile machines. With lustrous sheen and consistent thickness, the fabrics that are made of our raw silks have less defects and smoother surfaces. The materials can be woven into crepe de chine, canton crepe, georgette, double georgette, heavy georgette, sangbo crepe damask, crepe satin plain, elastic crepe satin plain, and warp knitted fabric.

At present, our silk material has been successfully sold to many regions and countries. The 3A and 4A raw silks are exported heavily to India and Southeast Asia. European and American customers prefer 5A and 6A grades. The silk yarn is mainly used for weaving fabrics of national costumes, like the Indian saree. It can also be used to make fashion clothes and wedding dress.

2. Silk yarn in cosmetics industry
As recorded in the ancient book of Compendium of Materia Medica, the natural silk can make skin beautiful, eliminate dark spots, and cure pyogenic dermatoses.

In cosmetics, there are two main forms of silk protein: the silk fibroin powder and the silk peptide. The silk fibroin powder is a superior base material in cosmetics, with the silk-unique soft sheen and UV absorbing ability. It is smooth, delicate, with good breathability and strong adsorptive power. It can absorb or release moisture according to changes in temperature and humidity, to keep skin corneum well-moistened. The silk peptide also has a good moisturizing effect.
