Corrosion Fatigue Tester
Mechanical-chemical fatigue testing for flexible pipes and cables in corrosive environments
Applications
This fatigue testing machine is designed to perform mechanical-chemical fatigue testing on flexible pipes and cables under different temperature, corrosive environment, and loading conditions.
HCF-1W fatigue testing machine uses a sealed chamber structure and transmits power to the test bearing through a series of power transmission devices. The system is composed of four main parts: the control system, immersion test chamber, salt spray corrosion chamber, and loading system.
- The control system manages the test process and displays environmental and load data.
- The corrosion environment simulation system can reproduce salt spray corrosion, full immersion, and cyclic immersion conditions.
- The loading system can apply axial tension, compression, torsion, and axial fatigue loads to the specimen.
- The sealed corrosion chamber helps prevent mist, harmful gases, and test solutions from escaping. Both the corrosion environment system and the loading device are built with corrosion-resistant structures for stable operation in corrosive test conditions.
Different motion modes can be achieved through independent servo controllers. The machine supports environmental testing under salt spray, controlled atmosphere, high-temperature, and low-temperature conditions.
With an effective working space of 1000 mm, the machine provides enough space for corrosion and tensile testing, while allowing easier specimen replacement, fixture changeover, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
Test Capabilities
The corrosion-resistant structure allows the mechanical-chemical fatigue testing chamber to perform the following tests:
- Salt spray corrosion tests, full immersion tests, and cyclic immersion tests at room and low temperatures
- Tensile and torsion tests across the full temperature range: room temperature 15–50°C, low temperature -30–15°C, and ultra-low temperature -170 to -150°C
- Axial fatigue and torsional fatigue tests across the full temperature range
- Slow strain-rate tensile tests and slow-rate torsion tests at room temperature under full immersion and cyclic immersion conditions
- Axial fatigue and torsional fatigue tests at room temperature under full immersion and cyclic immersion conditions
- Slow strain-rate tensile tests and slow-rate torsion tests at low temperature under full immersion and cyclic immersion conditions
- Axial fatigue and torsional fatigue tests at low temperature under full immersion and cyclic immersion conditions
- Slow strain-rate tensile tests and slow-rate torsion tests under salt spray corrosion conditions
- Axial fatigue and torsional fatigue tests under salt spray corrosion conditions
