The double wire hose clamp is a piece of steel wire with one end connected to a captive nut and the other to a captive screw. One of the upsides to using a wire clamp is the small contact area between the clamp and the pipe fitting around which it is tightened. This means more concentrated compression of the pipe fitting. Not recommended for pipe fittings that might be affected by contraction, expansion and aging.

Applications for Double Wire Hose Clamp
This stainless steel wire clamp is mainly used for rubber hoses, nylon braided plastic hoes, and fire hoses installed on fire engines, chemical engineering equipment, and construction machinery.
