    Applications
Fused mullite is a high end raw material for production refractory materials. It can be used to produce glass furnace lining, refractory lining for hot blast furnaces for smelting, Sillimanite bricks for blast furnaces, ceramic kiln lining, and more. Fused mullite can also be used to make high temperature sagger, decking and other refractory products.

    Manufacturing Technique
Fused mullite is made from high purity quartzite and alumina that has been smelted in a large electric-arc furnace. This collection of artificial refractory raw materials has needle shaped crystals, and during the fusion process, there should be a stable reducing atmosphere in the furnace.
