The stainless steel doctor blade will remove excess ink from a cylinder roller in order to ensure a clear print patter. They are made using high quality German ZAPP steel, which features an outstanding corrosion resistance, thus making them suitable for water based ink, coating ink, and ink with a high pH content.

The carbon steel doctor blades are made using carbon steel with a high hardness, low plasticity and low cost, making it affordable to change the blades as needed as a high wear component. They mare made using high quality, German ZAPP cold rolling carbon steel with a special technique used to make previous grinding unnecessary, thus, saving customers time.
