The SF6 gas insulated primary switchgear is a common type of medium voltage switchgear. It features a tank filled with SF6 gas that serves as insulation and as an arc quenching medium, providing excellent short circuit breaking capacity and increased safety. The compact primary switchgear is specially designed for 10kV/6kV distribution networks. With flexibility in mind, the gas insulated switchgear is an assembly of modular units.

- The primary switchgear features a stainless steel enclosure. The sealed tank is filled with 1.4bar SF6 gas, achieving IP67 protection level.
- The gas insulated switchgear is designed with a pressure relief channel for the circuit breaker to provide better heat dissipation and increased safety.
- All customer connections are accessible from the front of the switchgear. They are also accessible from the side of the switchgear according to different installation directions.
- Additional devices are optional such as automatic control devices, remote control devices and monitoring devices.
