Stainless Steel Pipe Union
A union is similar to a coupling, except that it is designed to allow quick and convenient disconnection of pipes for maintenance or fixture replacement. This commonly-used stainless steel pipe fitting, consisting of a nut, a female end, a male end, and a sealing element, is quite easy to install and remove. There are two connection methods available this stainless steel fitting we have made, namely the socket welding and threaded connection.
For socket welding, the steel pipe is inserted into the socketed hole and welded. The second means the steel pipe is screwed into the socket. That is why this stainless steel pipe union is also called a socket union.
