SG Series CNC Router Structure Explained
1. Base Framing
Iron casting base is precisely machined by a gantry milling machine and stress relieved by vibration equipment. The bodywork remains steady without deformation over the lifetime of CNC router.
2. DSP Controller
DSP controller for this CNC router is purchased from Beijing RichAuto S&T Co., Ltd, with an interface displayed in English. Durable, compact DSP design comes with USB port and 128M RAM memory, supporting online file transfer. Available with standard G code or HPGL programming, the controller enables faster computation, higher processing capacity, breakpoint continuation, and power failure project function, etc.
3. Motor-Driven Spindle
Quality 2200W water cooled spindle comes with a collet of varied sizes, each size matching a specific tool bit for cutting different materials. More powerful spindle models are available.
4. Ball Screw or Screw Shaft
Many small steel balls run along the helical grooves of the screw shaft to eliminate backlash or side-to-side play thereby ensuring smooth movements.
5. Linear Guide
Y axis uses square linear guide while x and z axes adopt round linear guide rails, all offering high rigidity, vibration and shock resistance.
6. Stepper Motor
Industrial-grade stepper motor delivers exceptional wear resistance. The motor for this CNC router would provide years of maintenance-free use as long as it is properly operated.
7. Photoelectric Limit Switch
More sensitive and durable than traditional mechanical switch, maintenance-free for long term use.
8. Dust Cover
Durable and flexible covers on X, Y axis offer dust barriers to every corner needed.
9. Electric Cabinet
Housed inside an electrical enclosure are neatly wired electrical components. The enclosure provides repair men an easy access to this CNC router when servicing is needed. Every wire is tagged so that when service is required, the customer can easily sort out the parts in the cabinet.

Water cooled or air-cooled spindle is available in different powers, made in China or Italy.
3. Vacuum Table
Multi-zone vacuum table allows the operator to easily switch from full sheet processing to smaller part. Gasket cords can be adjusted to seal the perimeter of workpiece of various sizes and shapes. Aluminum alloy can be used to construct the vacuum fixture.
4. Mist Sprayer
Mist sprayer sprays oil mist onto the surface being machined. The oil is important for tool cooling and lubrication during metal machining.
5. Dust Ruffles
Dust ruffles keep out dust during tool changing.
