Wafer butterfly valve features a wafer style body, lined with a variety of rubber, PTFE valve seat. It can be used to prevent or regulate the flow in various pipelines. As a low-cost flow control product, wafer butterfly valve has simple structure, small volume, light weight, small operating torque, and long service life of valve seat. This industrial valve allows for quick opening and closing by simply rotating by 90°, which is simple to operate. In addition, it has a good flow control.

Applications

Wafer butterfly valve is not only widely used in the petroleum industry piping system, gas transmission piping system, the chemical corrosion-resistant conveying system, and flow control function in the water treatment industry, but also used in the cooling water system of the thermal power station.

Most wafer type butterfly valves are designed with four holes that align with the connected pipeline. These valves are designed to clamp between two flanges in a connected pipeline system. They conform to most flange standards.

The wafer valve is designed to maintain a bi-directional differential pressure seal to prevent any backflow in a unidirectional flow system.
