Presentation
Arrayed waveguide (AWG) is similar in performance to standard thermal AWG, but its advantage comes from the fact that it requires no electrical power source for stabilization. These can be used as direct replacements for thin film filters (DWDM modules) when there is no power source available. They are also suitable for outdoor applications with a working temperature range of -30 to 70 degrees Celsius in access networks.

Features:
MUX/DEMUX Functionality
Athermal Design, Electrical Power is Not Required
Compact Package
Multi-channel Number
Low Insertion Loss, Low PDL, High Channel Isolation

Applications:
DWDM Transmission
Metro Area Networks
Long-haul Networks
PON Networks
Building Blocks for ROADM
Building Blocks for VMUX
