Slotted screen has a higher open area than conventional square opening wire mesh, resulting in an increased throughput. When compared to rectangular opening wire mesh, slotted screen can effectively avoid deformation caused by undesirable factors, while delivering greater wear and impact resistance. The additional crimps generate a vibration action helping to reduce blinding, and create tumbling effect for better fines removal. The slotted mesh is ideal for complete screening of materials by slowing material down to offer more time for material to pass over the openings.
