    Overall Design
    1. The butterfly valve does well in two-way sealing and zero leakage.
    2. The rubber-lined seat is capable of entirely isolating the body from media within a pipeline, so the body employs standard materials instead of anti-corrosive materials, effectively bringing down cost.
    3. With the help of the dry stem structure, the stem is absolutely separated from media. Therefore, we apply standard materials to manufacture stems so as to cut cost.
    4. Our operating torque is smaller than relevant industrial standard, which considerably lowers the use cost of its electric or pneumatic actuator.
    5. Due to light weight and compact structure, the butterfly valve is able to be hung vertically in three directions with the help of an integrally cast lifting support.
    6. With high Cv value, it adopts full bore design.

    Features
    1. Body

    The valve body is based on a wafer integral flange structure. Its drill holes are able to achieve AWWA C207, ANSI B16.1, ASME 125/150, PN 10 or other international flange standards. To install the butterfly valve in the end of a pipeline, tapping is required for through holes.

    2. Seat
    1) There are three seat options, namely skeleton type, no skeleton type and vulcanized type. Because of the waterline on its end face, the seat can be directly mounted without a flange gasket.
    2) Its standard material is EPDM, the abbreviation of ethylene propylene diene monomer. In addition, EPT, Nordel, ECD and EPR all belong to EPDM. As the most universal and economical seat materials, EPDM enjoys a wider range of application than BUNA-N.
    3) The seat of butterfly valve can be customized with diverse materials in accordance with different working conditions.

    3. Disc
    This high strength casting comes with two-way sealing, small operation torque and long useful life. Its edge has undergone spherical machining and manual polishing treatment. In streamline design, the disc of butterfly valve enjoys smaller flow resistance, higher Cv value and greater pressure recovery capability. Its external diameter gap allows for connection to all kinds of standard pipes.

    4. Stem
    1) The stem makes use of standard materials instead of anti-corrosive materials, due to the special structure and axial seal design which successfully isolate the stem from media.
    2) It is available in single-stem without pin design or double-stem without pin design. The joint between the disc and stem has been precisely processed, so as to avoid possible hysteresis and reinforce all the connections.
    3) The stem of throttle valve is provided with blow-out proof characteristic.
    4) Since the disc and the stem prevent dust and bacteria, the butterfly valve is perfect for health field.
    5) With regard to double-stem without pin design, we innovatively connect a flat or square stem end to a disc without the help of screws or pins, for directly driving the disc.

    5. Primary Seal and Secondary Seal
    1) The primary seal is achieved through the prepressing contact between the shoulder of disc and the internal surface of seat.
    2) The secondary seal of this sanitary valve is realized through the interference fit between the stem and the seat hole.

    6. Stem Bearing
    With thick walls, the self-lubricating bronze-backed bearing is used to absorb lateral thrust and reduce bearing friction as well as operation torque.

    7. Vertical Thrust Bearing
    When the butterfly valve is installed vertically, a vertical bronze thrust bearing is necessary for carrying the weight of disc and avoiding disc displacement caused by the weight of stem and disc.
