Operating Principle
The single screw compressor's main body consists of a cylindrical screw and two symmetrical plane star wheels. The meshing pair of screw slot, chassis and tooth surface of star wheels form a closed primitive volume. The hermetic compressor's screw drives the star wheels' rotation. When the star wheel tooth moves in the screw slot, the air in the screw slot will be correspondingly compressed and exhausted.

The screw has six screw slots and is horizontally separated into two working spaces by two star wheels. Each of the working spaces respectively realizes the process of air intake, compression and exhaust. Our rotary screw air compressor has currently been widely applied in the industries of medicine, instruments, textiles, food, chemical, mining, machinery, etc.

1. Rational Structure and Stable Operation
The star wheels are allocated symmetrically on both sides of the single screw compressor’s screw, enabling the radial force and axial force on the screw to offset each other. There is air intake duct between the two end faces of the screw. The screw bears no radial force or axial force. The force on the air compressor’s star wheel tooth only accounts for 1/30 of that of twin screw air compressor.

2. Energy Efficiency
Having high volumetric efficiency, our single screw compressor has no clearance volume. The control system has excellent functions, such as servo automatic stepless volume adjustment, automatic unload and load conversion, automatic shutdown, automatic restart, etc. Being significantly energy saving, our single screw compressor can save the power consumption by 60% when in no-load operation.

3. Durability
Having new structure, our single screw compressor's screw has balanced axial force and radial force. Enduring tiny gravity and friction, the bearings has long life of 100,000 hours. Our single screw compressor's durability has exceeded that of other types of compressors.

4. Low Noise and Low Vibration
The advanced design of meshing pair mold line features high speed and light load. Every rotation of the screw produces 12 compression cycles. The exhaust is up to 35,280 times in every minute in very low vibration instead of pulsation. Coupled with the use of advanced noise reduction device, the single screw compressor has extremely low noise and low vibration even when fully loaded.
