Trailer ABS
The trailer ABS is specially developed according to the market demand, and its system configuration is divided into 2S/2M, 4S/2M and 4S/3M to meet different needs. All the trailer ABS systems have the factory default of 2S/2M. Different configurations (4S/2M or 4S/3M) will be automatically accepted if being identified during the initial set-up. The automatic promotion only proceeds from low configuration to high configuration (for example, from 2S/2M to 4S/2M or 4S/3M). This range of anti lock brakes for trailers is mainly used for two purposes. One is to shorten stop distance and improve braking stability during high-speed drive, and the other is to effectively prolong the service life of tyres by reducing tyre wear that is caused by locking up. This trailer ABS system is designed as per international standards, and it exhibits following features.

Trailer ABS System Composition
Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
The ECU is primarily adopted by 2S/2M ABS system, 4S/2M ABS system and 4S/3M ABS system. It receives signals sent by speed sensors, and then outputs signals to control the combination valve. This lightweight, small-sized device allows simple installation, and it is placed on the combination valve. Moreover, it will automatically detect working conditions of different components of a trailer anti lock brake system once the ignition lock is switched on.

Combination Valve
The combination valve is an integrated double-chamber pressure regulating valve used to control two independent braking pressures during ABS cycle. It is a combination of two electromagnetic relay valves, and it is connected to ECU through internal circuit. This product is mainly utilized to inflate and exhaust brake chamber to adjust pressure.
Our trailer brake system comes with two models of combination valves which are CM2XL-4Sc and CM3XL-4Sc, and they are designed for 2S/2M, 4S/2M and 4S/3M trailer ABS system.

Relay Valve
Our relay valve is specially designed for trailer ABS, and it is only applicable for 4S/3M system. It controls braking behavior of wheels on one axle individually to realize synchronous braking of wheels on different axles, thus perfectly avoiding asynchronous braking and collision between trailer and its tractor.

Power Cable for Trailer ABS
This power cable is designed for pneumatic ABS system used in trailers, and it is outfitted with ISO7638 plug, ECU plug and indicator plug.

Sensor Extension Cable
As the name implies, a sensor extension cable is used to connect sensors with ECU, and it is often seen when standard cable is not enough to connect these two ABS system components. It is a two-core cable with cable clips to facilitate installation, and its length is customizable.
Spiral Power Cable for Trailer ABS
The spiral power cable is designed to connect tractor and power cable. It is particularly developed for trailers, and it shows outstanding flexibility and elasticity (can be elongated to about 4 times the length of spring). Moreover, it possesses remarkable mechanical and chemical properties, and it is resistant to oil, wear, tear and cold temperature.

Portable ABS Detector
It is a troublesome job to detect which part of trailer ABS fails because of the long overall length. However, if you have this portable ABS detector at hand, you will find it is much easier to do this, thus significantly improving working efficiency and reducing maintenance cost.
Combination Valve Extension Cable and First Section of K-line Diagnosis Cable
These two wire harnesses are used for 4S/3M trailer ABS only, and they are applied to connect combination valve with relay valve, or connect portable ABS detector with ABS system. In addition, the length depends on trailer model.
