Car & Light Commercial Vehicle ABS
Both our car ABS and light commercial vehicle ABS are hydraulic ABS systems. They are popular vehicle safety devices and integrate electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and hill start assist (HSA) functions together. Our anti lock braking system is great to prevent wheels from locking up or slipping under various road conditions.
This automobile ABS system is equipped with on-board diagnostic interface (OBD), J1939 compliant CAN bus communication interface and K-line interface to facilitate online detection.
ABS System Functions
Our range of car ABS & light commercial vehicle ABS system are developed on the basis of conventional braking system, but it utilizes a set of anti-lock electromechanical control device that is based on electronic control technology.
During emergency braking, when wheel slip rate enters into unstable zone, a indicative condition of impending wheel lock, ABS system will regulate braking pressure automatically to maintain slip rate within a narrow range (10%-30%), thus making full use of friction between tyres and road surfaces to avoid wheel lock. In this way, optimum braking performance is delivered, uncontrolled skidding is eliminated, and braking distance is also shortened. From this point of view, our car ABS & light commercial vehicle ABS significantly improve safety factor while driving, and reduces the potential of traffic accident.
ABS System Composition
Hydraulic ABS ECU
The ECU for our hydraulic anti lock braking system always receives signals sent by wheel speed sensors, and it also detects working state of other components of car ABS & light commercial vehicle ABS system. It will give alarm if a fault occurs. During braking, this control unit sends command to hydraulic ABS modulator to adjust braking pressure, so wheel lock won't take place.
This ECU has CAN bus communication interface and K-line interface, and it suits for 4S/3M ABS system and 4S/4M ABS system. Furthermore, it adopts modular design, and it is characterized by small size, light weight, compact structure, easy installation, simple maintenance, etc. In addition, ECU is installed on the hydraulic ABS modulator directly.

Hydraulic ABS Modulator
The hydraulic ABS modulator regulates the pressure of brake line according to signals sent by the ECU, and it has some basic functions, such as pressurizing, depressurizing, pressure holding, etc.

ABS Wire Harness
