PVB film is made from thermoplastic resin with plasticizer. It is widely used in the construction of laminated glass in the building and automobile, photovoltaic glass, bulletproof glass, and the soundproof insulation. People use PVB film to make glass for good safety reasons, as PVB film prevents shattered glass pieces flying everywhere when the glass gets hit with impact. In addition, PVB film also makes good insulations. It provides an ultraviolet barrier, and is available in various colors or high transparency.
