Quinclorac is a kind of herbicide that can be rapidly absorbed through foliage. It causes weak auxin activity as determined in wheat coleoptile elongation test, cucumber root elongation test, cucumber curvature test and ethylene biosynthesis test in soya beans.

This product has no influence on Hill reaction. Plant response is similar to that of IAA or auxin-type herbicides of the class of benzoic acids and pyridine compounds.

Usage
Quinclorac is suitable for pre- and post-emergence control of grass weeds (Echinochloa spp., Aeschynomene spp., Sesbaniaspp.) and other weeds in direct-seeded and transplanted rice. A.I. content of the weed control product ranges from 0.25 to 0.75kg/ha.
