YBGT Series Explosion Proof Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
The YBGT series explosion proof permanent magnet synchronous motor is a rare earth PMSM which shares the features of the general PMSM and the explosion protection function highly required for explosion-proof motors. As an explosion-proof product, this synchronous motor could be used to replace an explosion-proof induction motor of the same anti-hazard classification.
This explosion proof permanent magnet synchronous motor is an improved drive unit based on the induction motor. By embedding the NdFeB permanent magnets into the induction motor, we've developed the YBGT permanent magnet synchronous motor which enjoys the explosion protection and self-starting functions. Since its rotor field is formed by the permanent magnets, there is neither reactive excitation current of the stator nor resistive loss of the rotor during motor operation. Therefore, the electric drive unit's operating efficiency is 3% to 5% higher than that of ordinary motors.
Thanks to the above features, the PMSM induction motor is widely applied in the industrial production, and several derived products now are welcomed by customers, such as the mine explosion-proof motor, large-size PMSM, and mid-size PMSM.
YBGT Synchronous Motor Could Operate for a Long Time under the Following Conditions:
1. Temperature:-15℃~ 35℃ (in the coal mines) or 40℃ (in the factory);
2. Altitude: ≤ 3000m;
3. Field conditions:
a. Fixed equipment of underground mining;
b. IIB factories;
c. Working places where there is an explosive mixture of air or steam and combustible gases of the T1 to T4 temperature class.
