The calcined bauxite is the main raw material of high-alumina brick. The high-alumina brick made from the calcined bauxite is widely used refractory and corrosion –resistant material in the metallurgical industry and other industries, specially applied in blast furnace and hot-blast stove. The high-alumina brick features significantly great fire resistance, and its total performance is much better than that of common fire clay brick.
Applications of Calcined Bauxite
1.Aluminum refining industry: the calcined bauxite is applicable for national defense, aerospace, automotive, home appliance, chemical engineering, daily necessities, etc.
2. Precision casting industry: the alumina clinker is processed into fine powder and then the fine powder is turned into casting mould for precision casting; used in military, aerospace, communication, instrumentation, machinery and medical equipment sectors.
3. Refractory products: high-alumina bauxite clinker features up to 1780 ℃ refractoriness, strong chemical stability and excellent physical properties.
4. The stuff made from magnesia sand, bauxite clinker as well as appropriate binding agent is perfect for the whole ladle lining of pouring ladle.
5. Well suitable for alumina cement, abrasive materials and various aluminum compounds in the ceramic industry and chemical industry.
