Cold rolled is a term used in metal formation process. Metal that has been cold rolled is formed by rolling at room temperature, usually to obtain an improved surface finish or higher tensile strength.

Here at Summary Resource, we also provide quality cold rolled sheets to our customers. The 1-series cold rolled sheet has a high dimensional precision and excellent properties, including a deep drawability and electromagnetic properties. The last two numbers of the series number indicates the minimum content of aluminum within the alloy. Take the aluminum alloy 6061 sheet for example. The last two number: 6 and, means this alloy has at least 61% aluminum in its structure.

Applications
This alloy sheet is widely used in applications requiring high mechanical strength and premium parts, but not a high corrosion resistance or plasticity, such as chemical machinery, marine equipment, railway tank cars, conductors, electrodes, instruments and more.
