Not all damage is bad. Our 808nm diode laser for hair removal heats target areas, which damages hair follicles and hair so the follicle falls out. The diode laser also targets the oxygen supplying tissue around the hair follicle's stem cell, removing unwanted hair permanently on the arms, legs, face, and bikini lines.

F&Q
Q1: When will my hair fall out?
Some hair will fall out during treatment, but it will take 3-7 days for all hair to fall out. During this time, hair will look like stubble. A new growth cycle will start 4-6 weeks after treatment.
Q2: What will my skin look like after treatment?
Following treatment, the area of treated skin will look red and slightly puffy, like a mosquito bite. It may feel like a light sunburn for 1-3 days.
Q3: How many treatments will I need?
Approximately five treatments are needed, though that number depends on hair color, skin type and patient's features.
Q4: How much time is needed between treatments?
Treatments are spaced six to eight weeks apart.
Q5: Why can't I pluck or wax before a laser treatment?
When you pluck or wax, you are pulling the hair directly out of the hair follicle and removing the pigment which is needed for the laser to target. If plucking or waxing has been done, wait for four weeks for all hair to grow back. During this time, shaving is ok.
Q6: Why do I shave prior to treatment?
Patients need to shave prior to treatment because the laser needs to sit directly on the skin to focuse all the light towards the growth center in the base of the hair follicle. Hair acts as a barrier and traps the heat, causing skin to burn underneath.
