A U anchor, also known as a U-bolt is a bolt designed in a U-shape with screw threads on both ends. They have been primarily used to support pipework in a number of industries. Our U-bolts are an embedded component as part of its body must be mounted into cement. We supply two varieties of U anchors, including the U-bolt with a welded gasket and the U-bolt with threads. Currently, this hot-dip galvanized U-anchor is used to hold anchor chains, shackles and other dock fittings in place to ensure the secure connection.
