DMX-T16 Sub-controller
The DMX-T16 controller is an advanced DMX sub-controller in a LED lighting control system. Originally developed for the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower Lights and Sound Show control in 2014, the LED sub-controller is designed to be resilient for high stakes performances. Two input ports receive signals from the master controller light and routes them to the LED lights. An on-board signal detector and switch monitor two incoming signals and initiate a high-speed switch (in 0.1 milliseconds) when the signal in use has failed. All I/O ports are opto-coupled to protect against damage or interference because of electrical surges.
· Two sets of 100 T-based communication ports. Each set consists of one input port receiving signals from the main controller or another DMX-T16; two output ports transmit light control signals to the next sub-controllers.
· The DMX sub-controller can be connected in a chain or tree-like network for larger scale LED lighting system.
· The distance between the main controller and sub-controller is 100m with CAT 5 cable.
· Sixteen DMX512 control ports (every port has automatic address-setting function). Each port can control 170 RGB pixels or 512 monochrome pixels. The port uses a quick and secure connection for easy and fast installation.
· All input and output ports are opto-coupled to ensure stable operation of the entire lighting control system.
· Single micro switch initiates online automatic DMX addressing for light fixtures.
· Transmission distance from the control port to the last LED light fixture is 300 meters using CAT 5 cable.
· Receive and transmit pixel frame resolutions of 512 * 512; frame refresh rate of 30Hz or 60Hz.
