Sealing System
Glyd ring comes from MERKEL. This o-ring loaded seal is a combination of PTFE filled seal and an o-ring, providing excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance, and minimized friction. These characteristics prevent the seal from extruding into the gap between parts being sealed.
Piston Rod
Precision honed high-strength carbon steel offers high strength and has been through a series of heat treatments including quenching to achieve high hardness. Chrome plating and CNC controlled polishing give the rod optimal surface finish which helps protect the oil film that further leads to extended service life.
Cylinder
The forged cylinder is made of high-strength alloy steel through quenching and tempering. Wall thickness is varied according to the required strength and size of the cylinder. The internal cylinder surface has undergone roller burnishing to obtain excellent surface finish and hardness so that minimized friction is experienced. Enhanced wear resistance results in extended service life.
