The exhaust flexible pipe, also known as exhaust flex section, is installed in the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the muffler. It allows an adjustable union to be formed between otherwise inflexible pipes. The significance is to: 1. absorb noise and damp vibration;

The section body is formed by double-ply corrugated metal bellow in the middle, lined with inner braid and cased in outer braid. The flange is a plus of this series of exhaust flexible pipes.
