ApplicationThe HMDTMPA can inhibit a variety of scales, such as calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, iron oxide, etc. But it is commonly used as calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scale inhibitor in water treatment.
In various organic phosphonic acids, the HMDTMPA inhibits calcium sulfate scale with the best inhibition rate and the longest effective time. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for the extrusion process in oil fields. It can also be used for boiler water treatment.
