Chemical structure
Uses 1. It is utilized to make ω-bromo-2,4-dichloroacetophenone which is the intermediate for enilconazole, propiconazole and other triazole fungicides.
2. Bromoacetic acid can be used to fabricate its esters, and these esters are useful in manufacturing β-hydroxy carboxylic acid as well as α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acid in pharmaceutical and agricultural industries.
Caution 1. This chemical intermediate shall be stored in a cool and well-ventilated warehouse. The container must be sealed and kept away from fire and heat source.
2. Avoid inhalation, ingestion, skin contact and eye contact.
