Diatomite Ceramic Water Filter
The ceramic water filter is mainly made from diatomite. Diatomite is a porous material. 80% surface of diatomite monomer is covered by micro pores which come in 0.015-0.3µm diameters. Cross pore structure makes the effective filtration diameter muss less. Such rich micropores deliver three advantages:
1. Water flux of unused or cleaned diatomite filter is about 2-3L/min. Filtration area is 300m2.
2. Filter out all large particle metal minerals that come with larger particle size than the pore diameter, such as iron rusts, calcium, magnesium, etc.
3. Enable the water purifier to remove all bacteria, microorganism and gelatinous substances.
In addition, diatomite ceramic water filter can be cleaned repeatedly. The water flow will slow down as the pores on the surface are blocked. Users can use abrasive paper or gauze element to remove the retentate. The more frequently you clean the faucet water filter, the more impurities the water contain and the worse the water quality. This result also varies in different areas according water quality conditions.
