The vertical ultrasonic vial cleaner is suitable for cleaning of various small glass vials, like 1 to 20 ml ampoules, 5 to 25 ml oral liquid vials and 2 to 20 ml penicillin vials. The machine can automatically perform all the procedures, from bottle feeding, ultrasonic rough washing, bottle surface fine washing, bottle interior wall fine washing, to final discharging. Combining ultrasonic cleaning and water, gas jet cleaning, the cleaner is one of the most popular vial cleaning machines all over the world. The equipment can be used independently or used together with other machine sets to form a production line.

Main Characteristics
  • Made on the basis of patented technologies, the vertical ultrasonic vial cleaner offers low energy consumption, low bottle breakage, high bottle clarity and no cross contamination.
  • The use of a conveyor belt for bottle feeding greatly reduces the labor intensity while increasing the efficiency.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning is adopted for rough washing purpose. Although the ultrasonic power is typically 600 W, it can be adjusted according to the size of the bottle and the actual situation. The water tank has two 4.5 kW electric heaters for heating. The temperature controller ensures the ultrasonic washing is done in 40 to 60 ℃ water.
  • The ultrasonic vial cleaning machine uses long auger to bring bottles out of the water tank and deliver them to the star wheel, which eliminates blockage and bottle breakage caused by the lifting device. Multi-level star wheel is used to convey bottles.
  • After clamping bottles, the manipulators can turn around without stretching out. This effectively prevents the lubricating oil on the spindle from being brought into tank when the manipulator stretches out, so the washing liquid will not be contaminated.
  • The WFI (water for injection), compressed air, circulating water all need to pass through the filter. The cleaning equipment adopts double circulation water tank system. The WFI flows into circulation tank after flushing and then passes through water pump and filter for downgrade usage. This helps reduce water consumption.
  • All of the three mediums adopt independent jet needle. Each group of needles only washes one medium and performs one washing procedure, avoiding cross contamination of washing medium. The water and gas pipes of the washing machines are short, and the needle amount is small, which facilitates cleaning, maintenance and parts replacement.
  • The pinhead adopts guide sleeve positioning and is pointed toward the centre. Jet needles don't come into contact with the bottle interior wall. Hence, no glass particles and metal particles are generated. Also, the bottleneck breakage can be effectively lowered.
  • The clamp arm of the manipulator is made using high quality stainless steel, which is wear resistant, deformation resistant and long lasting.
  • Both lifting cam and tracking cam are manufactured using 40Gr steel material and undergo quenching and tempering treatment. In addition, the tracking swing span uses specially made channel steel, is welded by specialized equipment and undergoes fine finishing, which helps reduce the weight of the swing span. All of this contributes to improving the accuracy and stability of the needle tracking and reducing vibration and noise caused during equipment operation.
  • The star wheel, paling and auger are made from POM material. Hence, they provide good rigidity, wear resistance and long life.
  • All the water and gas pipes are created with 304 stainless steel or other material that is nontoxic, corrosion resistant and GMP compliant. These pipes meet the request of CIP. The sealing materials choose nontoxic, odorless and temperature resistant PTFE or silicon rubber.
  • The vertical ultrasonic vial cleaner has multiple protection functions. For instance, it will automatically stop when the pressure value of washing medium is lower than the rated pressure value, the water temperature doesn't reach the set value, the ultrasonic doesn't work, etc.
  • The whole washing station is equipped with transparent organic glass cover, which enables the operator to clearly see the vial washing process, ensuring reliable operation.
  • The machine adopts advanced PLC, human-machine interface, making the control more efficient and convenient. It will stop automatically when any faults occur. The fault causes will be shown on the interface.
  • The changing of spare parts is convenient. Only auger, star wheel and paling need to be changed. The manipulator part doesn't need any change or adjustment.
