The rim edge conditioning machine is a fully automatic piece of equipment used for removing burrs after rim rolling. It uses a cold rolling method to trim the edge until its smooth, fulfilling requirements for an improvement in rim quality. This edge conditioner is used to process small wheel rims, and features a wide processing range, a high overall accuracy, and a compact structure. The automatic system produces a high working efficiency.

  • Full-automation

    Single-action, manual and automatic operation modes are available. PLC controlled operating is safe and reliable.

  • HMI allows for manual recording of processing parameters for different rim models and stores them for later recall. HMI also displays set conditions and real time equipment external signal status.
  • Loading and unloading width, height of pinch roller, and other parameters can be adjusted for processing different wheel rim models.
  • The two rotary roller frames (left and right) can be adjusted within a speed range of 120-200rpm. The upper press roll is pneumatically operated and is adjustable in press from 4 to 8kg/cm². The loading and unloading frame is adjusted within a 6"-16.5" width. All process control, position control and workpiece displays use a digital contactless induction display for a clear display.
  • The green light indicates safe and normal operations. A red light will flash and alarm in the event of a failure, which will be displayed for a quick diagnosis and repair. For changing products, simply replace the die and adjust the deburring roll angle in as little as 4 minutes.
