Drying Unit
Synthetic gypsum contains over 10% of free water, is fine-sized and damp, therefore a pre-drying process is necessary before calcination.
Pre-drying system: consist of receiving hopper, belt doser, belt conveyor, vibrating screen, de-ironing separator, hammer dryer, bag filter, and conveying device.
Driven by motor directly, motor consists of body and rotator, front and rear of the body are set with striker plates. Wet materials are hit by high-speed rotating flat hammer, raised and fully mixed with hot air, travel along with hot air. Traveling mixture get blocked by front and rear striker plates, air is deflected and wet materials are reversely struck by the plate hammer. These processes result in a longer-lasting heat exchange, therefore a high evaporation rate is maintained.
