A typical use of our hydraulic cylinder is in the water project, where it can be installed ontp a hoist for raising or lowering the radial gate or flat gate of a dam. Depending on the types of gate hoists to be served, a hydraulic cylinder may fall into one of the following five series:
1. QHLY series for free-flowing radial gate hoist
2. QHSY series for submerged radial gate hoist
3. QRWY series for horizontal miter gate hoist
4. QPKY series for rapid-closing flat gate hoist
5. QPPY series for flat gate hoist
The cylinder is able to give a lifting force somewhere between 60KN and 10000KN, raising the gate to a maximum height of 18 meters. The cylinder bore is up to 1000mm, and the piston diameter reaches 600mm.
Various mounting styles are available. The cylinder can be mounted to the hoist by trunnions, flanges, or ball joints at both ends or somewhere near the center of mass. It can be re-configured to customer specific installation requirements.
As a matter of fact, many domestic well-known water projects have used our hydraulic cylinder. These projects include: Three Gorges Dam, Ship-lifts for Three Gorges, Xiaolangdi Dam, South-to-North Water Transfer Project, Myanmar DAPIN Reservoir, Tishreen (Syria) Hydroelectric Power Station, Fengman Hydropower Station, Dongping Hydropower Station, and Irtysh-Karaganda irrigation canal.
