Special Building Projects: LED Flood Light, LED Linear Light
Wuxi Grand Theatre stands on the south bank of Taihu Lake and features a unique form. It is designed with eight gigantic roof wings stretch far over the facades, making it look like a butterfly, while protecting the building from the heat of the sun. Inside the wings are thousands of LED lights, which make it possible to change the color of the wings, adding sense of beauty to the city. Lighting design project of the building was completed in October, 2011. StrongLED LED flood lights, linear LED lights and controllers were used in this project.
Lighting system of Wuxi Grand Theatre adopts two stage control method comprising main controller, sub controller and LED fixtures. The high power floodlights and mid power linear lights are controlled by StrongLED DMX controllers that with automatic addressing capability ensures unified program display and color effect changes. On different facades, LED pixel lights arrays display video in real-time.
