The transformer consists of coil and iron core. The iron core plays a role of magnetizer and frame of the transformer. To reduce the magnetic hysteresis loss and eddy current loss, the iron core is usually made of material with high magnetic permeability. OHMALLOY provides six following materials with high magnetic permeability for our customers. We can provide custom sheet, wire, bar material for you.
