Grade XF1 threaded compressed air filters are used for the high-efficiency filtration of oil vapor and hydrocarbon vapor through adsorption using activated carbon. 0.01μm or larger solid particles are filtered with a maximum residual oil content of 0.003ppm, ensuring the air is free of water, dust, oil, and odors. These filters are often used in the last step of filtration, with the filter housing produced from aluminum alloy or carbon steel. Carbon steel is most often used in large filters and high-pressure systems. The filter element is made of glass fiber.
