Fiber optic test platform for measuring insertion loss and return loss of simplex and duplex fiber optic cables
This loss meter is designed for testing insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL) of passive optical components, including CWDM devices, multi-wavelength components, PLC splitters, and fiber optic jumpers. It features integrated red light or 850nm multimode light source functionality and supports various advanced capabilities, such as pedal switch, threshold determination, automatic multi-wavelength detection, system integration, and integration with PC software for advanced customization, enabling secondary development for tailored testing workflows and system integration.
