Macro-etch Testing Lab
Our macroetch testing laboratory is produced according to ASTM-E381 and GB/T226 standards. This testing equipment is vital in the selection of raw materials, trial production and manufacturing control systems of the steel industry.
The sample macro test can analyze steel characteristics by observing the macro structure of the specimen, spotting defects at less than 10x magnification. Defects that can be spotted at this level of magnification include: ingot segregation, general segregation, center porosity, white dots, cracks, slag inclusion etc.
The laboratory includes a series of supplementary equipment such as a sample etching chamber, acid heating device, acid storage device, and waste liquid treatment system, etc.
