Standard Non-class 1E nuclear power plant insulated cable is manufactured according to RCC-E standards.

Application These insulated wires are suitable for linking signal and control components in the control system network of nuclear power plants.

Basic types and descriptions

HBG2 Class 2 tinned copper conductor, cross-linked polyolefin double layer insulated, low-smoking, halogen-free wire of not class 1E grade for nuclear power plants
HRG2 Class 5 tinned copper conductor, cross-linked polyolefin double layer insulated, low-smoking, halogen-free wire of not class 1E grade for nuclear power plants

Properties 1. Rated voltage: 0.6/1kV
2. The permitted long-term working temperature of conductor: 90℃.
3. The permitted bending radius of cable is no less than 8 times of the overall diameter of the cable.
4. The Min. environmental temperature:-15℃.
5. Min. laying temperature of the cable is 0℃. The cable should be pre-heated if it is below the Min. laying temperature
6. Combustibility: The insulated core can pass the test according to GB/T 18380.12(IEC60332-1): Test method on electric wires or cables under fire conditions.
7. The cable can comply with he test according to GB/T 17651(IEC 61034): Test method on electric wires or cables under fire conditions.
8. Insulation material and sheath material of the cable should be tested as per GB/T 17650 (IEC 60754-2) pH is no less than 4.3, and conductivity should be less than 10ms/mm.
9. Electrical properties:
9.1 It can withstand AC 3500V/5min.
9.2 DC resistance of conductor at 20℃is shown in table 3.
9.3Insulation resistance at 20℃is shown in table 4.
