Azoxystrobin is a fungicide commonly used in agriculture. The substance is used as an active agent protecting plants, fruit and vegetables from fungal diseases.

Function
Azoxystrobin is widely used in farming, particularly in wheat farming. Applying agents containing this agricultural chemical provides protection against many types of diseases as follows.
1. Wheat septoria
2. Septoria leaf spot
3. Wheat leaf rust, also called Puccinia recondita
4. Rye leaf rust, also called Puccinia triticina
5. Powdery mildew
6. Downy mildew
7. Stripe rust
8. Haustorium
9. Pyrenophora teres

Uses and Dosage

Note
This kind of fungicide is classified as very toxic to aquatic organisms. Its main degradation product is very harmful.
