Cylindrical (1×2 to 1×16)

MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch is an optical path control device that comes in small cylindrical form. The MEMS 1xN optical switch allows channel selections between a single input fiber and up to N output fibers. Based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology, these single mode optical switches are available in port configurations of 1×2 to 1×16. The rotation of MEMS mirror controls the path of optical signal, enabling the optical switch to transmit, redirect and block optical signals with desired path.

Due to its compact size, low power consumption and excellent durability, this MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch can be widely used in various applications such as optical fiber communication and fiber sensing.
