External PCB1 (1×2 to 1×64)

This MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch comes with an external PCB, and is offered with port configurations of 1×2 to 1×64. Based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology, the MEMS optical switch allows channel selection between single input fiber and up to N output fibers. The MEMS mirror rotates to direct the optical light to the desired output fiber, thus enabling the optical switch to transmit, redirect and block optical signals.

The MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch is a bi-directional switch that has extensive applications including optical fiber communication and fiber sensing. Amazelink, a specialist MEMS optical switch manufacturer, supplies a variety of optical switches that are RoHS compliant and Telcordia GR-1073-CORE approved.
