A hydraulic station provides the power needed to do all the rolling work, saving 40% of energy compared to a mechanically powered bending roll. By adjusting the corresponding valve in the hydraulic station, the 4 roll plate bending machine can provide different gripping forces needed to pinch different thicknesses and widths of plates between the upper and lower rolls. The 4-roll plate rolling process is also highly productive, delivering 50% to 80% higher efficiency than a 3-roll model all while leaving minimized unbent flat.
